You read that right! Get Ready for the Future of Food.

On May 12, I had the honor of meeting a small group of visionaries whose mission is to revolutionize our understanding of the processes that take place inside the body when we eat, and with that knowledge, begin to shape positive changes into the future of food

Over 20 years of ground breaking science and trials, in the hands of a team of leaders, all experts in their specific disciplines, driven by a passion to stop the epidemics of obesity and diabetes that has become the norm, all openly praising God for what He has blessed them with, has resulted in what I believe to be the dream team of our age.

The future of food is sooner than you think!

Now I don’t normally speak in such superlatives, and I am not easily impressed, but after listening to them one after another, my gut is telling me that this IS the REAL DEAL! What I am about to share with you is so new it is in a category of its own. It is about re-engineering the foods we love, naturally, making the future of food healthier, without having to sacrifice the flavors and textures we have grown to love… and not changed with chemicals, but with other foods, to be healthy so we can eat what we want without accumulating fat and poisoning our bodies with tons of sugar. Imagine the possibilities! That is huge, and the market for it is limitless. Face it, we are all going to continue eating and drinking.

future of food

Just as an aside, as I sit at my computer writing this piece, I am sipping on a delightful chocolate raspberry latte, and with every delicious sip I take, my body is receiving instructions to burn fat instead of store fat. I have a piece of the future of food right here in my coffee mug, a constant reminder of how my friend Kris always says, “Savor the flavor”.

So let’s get on to the nuts and bolts of what has come together over the past few years to embark upon the future of food.

It all began when two guys got together and had a brainstorm idea to start a coffee company. They understood that a commodity, coffee, is something that almost everyone drinks every day. It is legal and we are largely addicted. What if they could produce the best tasting coffee in the world? What would that look like?

Now one of these guys was a seasoned veteran in the network marketing industry, having been a top achiever and top earner in MLM, who had a longing to do something more. With a firm belief in the network marketing business model, and a strong desire to help others achieve success, network marketing was the clear choice for bringing their product to market.

The other had started out selling cars at a Ford dealership and quickly rose to the top, breaking sales records at every turn. After Joining BMW, he quickly became one of their top 10 sales people in the nation, and later, as Finance Director, tripled sales volume. Eventually he moved on to building his own successful dealerships. Together, these two gifted men formed a company that specialized in private estates, shade grown, certified organic, fair trade coffee, roasted without flame in a state of the art, infra red roasting facility, one of just a few in the world. This gave them total control of the process and quality of their product. Their business began to grow, and with integrity born of servant’s hearts they began to give back, supporting several well known charitable foundations helping at risk children.

Neither one was thinking about the future of food at all!

While all of this was going on, there was a renowned research scientist and gifted formulator, who had poured years of research into studying how things go wrong in the human body at the cellular and genetic level. Her passion had grown out of her personal struggle with illness, and she became an expert at maximizing human performance through understanding how the body responds to different foods. She held an array of patents that had already generated over a billion dollars, revolutionizing the food, Nutraceutical, and Pharmaceutical industries. She had been featured on the front page of the Wall Street Journal and her work had earned her recognition with a Product Breakthrough of the Year in Success Magazine, and with all of this success, she was not happy. She was thinking about the future of food. As a matter of fact, the future of food was on her mind all most all of the time.

She was not happy because all of the companies she was developing these ground breaking products for simply did not play straight. They had no moral compass, and they violated FDA regulations in their lust for the almighty dollar. From her perspective, having run an FDA Claim Substantiation Clinic for over 25 years, with high profile clients like Proctor & Gamble, Hershey, and Burger King, this was a cardinal sin. When you are dealing with human lives, you have to take that seriously. She was so firmly set on having nothing to do with anything less than full legal compliance, that she turned down an offer to formulate products for the Trump (as in Donald Trump) network, because she would not be given total control over production and product claims.

The world renowned scientist and formulator explained to these two men that the research she and others had done revealed that drinking coffee triggers the body to store fat, and that she had patented a process that would change their coffee to make it burn fat, without using chemicals and without changing the flavor. That was when everything began to change.

Her terms demanded total integrity. She would bring to the table new patented processes for products that had been in trials for 5-10 years, with documented research to make claims that are legal and substantiated. She would retain total control over the quality of ingredients and processes, and the claims made for the performance of those products. She now would have the vehicle to achieve her dream, to change the future of food, to put into our reach the knowledge to turn the tide on the epidemics of obesity and diabetes. Reflecting on this, she said that she is happier now than she has ever been.

They had moved from producing the best tasting coffee in the world to producing the best tasting and healthiest coffee in the world! Well now the stakes were higher and the dream was bigger for all concerned. There were new buzz words floating around like “edible computer chips” and “skinny science” and it was evident that this was going to be big. What was needed now was a top management professional with a proven track record for steering a large corporation to greatness, but one that could also embrace their network marketing business model and passionate vision for a healthier world, and take the future of food to the next level.

From the executive ranks of Grand Auto (18 years) and Home Depot (17 years) and most recently, 24 Hour Fitness, another servant leader emerged to join this team. The plan is just beginning to unfold. The future promises more research, more patents, more education, valid certifications, and naturally engineered food and beverage products, delicious edible computer chips, that will help us achieve maximum human performance.

So who are they? George Najjar, Founder, President & CEO of Boresha International, Inc., Mike Babcock, Founder, Vice President, & International Marketing Director of Boresha International, Inc., Dr. Ann de Wees Allen, Chief of Boresha’s Medical Board, Bruce Levitin, Chief Operating Officer.
