Questioning the Sanity of Humanity
God has a plan for our cultural sanity. The sanity of humanity is called into question daily. Maybe it is through our isolation and reemergence that we will begin to better understand God’s plan. Possibly, clearing our calendars and separating ourselves from others has the potential to open our eyes to look at life a…
“One Like a Son of Man” Revisited
The parallel imagery we find in Daniel and The Revelation are striking, but there has been one phrase troubling me for months as I completed a study of Daniel, then another in The Revelation. I recently wrote about the interpretation of the phrase “one like a son of man” in Daniel 7:13, but was having…
Worship Interrupted
It all boils down to keeping a “God view” on our daily activities and responding to every interaction with a consciousness that God is always there with us. It will change the way we think and do things, and it will bring blessings into our lives.
Lessons from “a Son of Man”
I recently read a commentary on Daniel’s Dream of the Four Beasts (Daniel 7:1-28) and was awestruck at the way the author described verse 13 as Daniel witnessing Christ being glorified by God in the presence of the heavenly multitude, five hundred and fifty some odd years before the sojourn of Jesus on the…
The Changing Face of Web Ministry
Web Ministry – The Humble Beginnings Back in the day… well actually not that long ago, the internet was new and we marvelled at how cool it was to be able to email instead of snail mail. At first it was small businesses that kick started personal use of computers, but as personal computers became…

The Measure of a Year
A huge storm hit home this week. Not only did Tropical Storm Debby reek havoc on our city, a storm of a different nature has also been blowing, wildly through my heart. This week we received news that close pastor friends of ours from Guanito, Cuba, Pastor Alexei and Pastora Iliancie, brought into the world, their first child. Much like the waters from the storm surged in to flood our streets, emotions of a year since my trip to Cuba have surged and seized my heart.
The First Blood Sacrifice
And so God’s chosen people began their epic journey through history. If they would not make the correct choices to be an example to the rest of the world of how blessed they were living under God’s love and protection, by loving Him with all their hearts, their minds and their strength, and loving their neighbors as they loved themselves, then God would accomplish His purpose through and for them in another way.
What is a Christian?
God created the world with such abundance there is enough for everyone to have it all, but the stewards entrusted with the greatest abundance seem to have a problem with distributing that wealth and investing it in the children of God who were unfortunately born into a less fortunate circumstance.
Resolving to Pursue a Clean Heart
The human condition is a reflection of the great fall from grace in the Garden of Eden. Ever since that ancient example was set, all of mankind has shared the same experience in life from birth to physical death, physically, mentally, and spiritually, we fall down, we get up.
