My dear friend Allaine went to be with the Father a few days after Christmas. It was an unexpected event that was deeply felt by family, friends and our community. Allaine was no ordinary lady, she was an angel among us.
Allaine was soft spoken, gentle, kind, and always willing to help. She had a sparkle in her eyes that is difficult to describe, and whenever I needed advice or clarification, she was the one that I could trust to hold me accountable to the most righteous path. She was the person in my life that inspired me to seek wisdom.
I will always remember Allaine for a quality she had that I can only call “brutal honesty”. She could deliver the sharpest of criticism in a manner that left you thankful rather than offended, a trait I imagine the angels must have. Though she is gone from this earth, I still feel her presence, and pray that feeling never departs from me. I love you Allaine. You will continue to be an angel among us.
