It seems the hottest topic in success coaching circles these days is the law of attraction.\u00a0 It is being packaged and sold in a myriad of ways, in variations that run the gamut from scientific to new age.\u00a0 It is being treated like some new revelation, but the concept all boils down to what Jesus taught us about faith, and the mechanics of putting our faith into action.<\/h3>\n

I just hate it when men take credit for what God is doing.\u00a0 That is not to say that the actions of man are irrelevant, they are quite relevant, but all Glory rightly belongs to God!\u00a0 \u201cThe secret\u201d was revealed in ancient times, and is no secret for those who have gone to the Source, the Word of God, to find it.\u00a0 What troubles me most is that the word of God is a free gift, and not meant to be sold for a profit.\u00a0 There is no shortcut or substitute for personal study that allows the Supreme Creator to impart to you wisdom and understanding of His universal laws. In short, \u201cthe secret\u201d is simply faith in action.<\/h3>\n

Hebrews 11:1 \u201cNow, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.\u201d NKJV<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n

But faith alone is only one part of the equation.\u00a0 Faith in God, in conjunction with inviting Him and allowing Him to be Lord over your life, are keys to releasing the blessings we seek.<\/h3>\n
\n

Matthew 17:19-21 \u201cThen the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, \u2018Why could we not cast it out?\u2019\u00a0 So Jesus said to them, \u2018Because of your unbelief;\u00a0 for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, \u2018Move from here to there,\u2019 and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.\u00a0 However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.\u2019\u201d NKJV<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The vendors of the \u201cshortcuts\u201d can not carry you over the threshold from saying to doing.\u00a0 They can not impart to you the essence of visualizing \u201cthings hoped for\u201d nor the faith to truly believe they have \u201csubstance\u201d.\u00a0 Faith is a gift from God!\u00a0 You will not come by faith without first seeking Him in earnest.\u00a0 As you develop your faith and study His word, you will learn that every thought you hold important enough to dwell upon and speak about can be received as \u201cthings hoped for\u201d, some by God, and some by the enemy, and that is why God\u2019s word tells us that we must keep our thoughts obedient to Christ.<\/h3>\n
\n

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 \u201cFor though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.\u00a0 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.\u00a0 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.\u201d NIV<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n

No matter how much money you spend trying to find the easy answer and the magic formula, and no matter how much seed you sow with the \u201cprosperity preachers\u201d, unless you take the time and make the effort to connect to God in a very personal way, the understanding needed to release His blessings into your life will remain elusive.\u00a0 Mountain moving faith is given to those who give over their heart, soul, mind, and strength to His keeping.<\/h3>\n
